Had a great experience with the 5 day multi engine program at D&J Apopka! My instructor, Alex M. is very experienced and taught me everything I needed to know to pass my checkride.

I just finished up the commercial multi add on course and it was fantastic! Although I was on track to finish in 5 days, the Florida weather had other plans. I was able to get the oral portion done, but low clouds made the flight a no go. Owen and Dom were able to get me two other dates and was able to get in for the flight 11 days later. Despite the break, the procedures that Joel (all the best at SkyWest!) taught in 4 days were still sharp. If you sign up for the accelerated course, do yourself a favor and put in the work ahead of time and learn the aircraft and systems! D&J is the place to go if you want to put in the work and get it done. To Owen, Dom, Joel, Leila, and the rest of the amazing staff, thank you! And thanks for letting my kids check out the planes, they loved it.

Your experience will be what you make it. If you come prepared, you'll have a great time learning a new airplane and earning a new rating. I was a student for the 5-day accelerated multi-course, and from the moment I enrolled I had access to all the training material I needed, thanks to Owen at the desk who has been helpful from day zero to day 5. The aircraft are well maintained, the school is organized, the hangars are tidy, and the staff + chief pilot are the best spread of people you could want rooting for you. Shoutout to my IP Nick for getting me past the finish line!! I made the right decision trusting this school to get me my multi. Pro tip: Pack a Hawaiian shirt

I recently completed my multi-engine add on with D&J. This was through their accelerated multi training program, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. It is a 5-day long course that provides a wealth of ground knowledge alongside high quality flight instruction.
I had the privilege of training with MEI Leila. With her professionalism, expertise, and dedication it led me to the success of passing my multi engine add-on check ride by the end of the 5-day course. I would highly recommend her to anyone pursuing their multi engine rating or multi engine instructor licensure for their training.

Just wrapped up my commercial multi add on and would highly recommend D&J for your multi! Came in prepared on monday and with only 7 hours of flight time passed my checkride on friday.

Owen was great at the desk making sure everything was handled on the backend and my instructor Joel was great in preparing me both for the checkride and real world multi engine flying!

Come in prepared with maneuvers, flows and systems down and you can knock this 5 day course out with no problem.

Went to D&J for the 5 hour multi course. My instructor Nick was great, the planes were clean and safe, everyone I talked to at the front desk and the other instructors were nice and helpful. DPE got sick on my exam day and they were very quick to get me another checkride date scheduled, so all around good experience. Weirdly charged $6 for checklists?

Had an amazing experience at D&J with their multi-engine course. Professional and honest staff. Instructor Rob did an amazing job with great knowledge about the aircraft, regulations, and aerodynamics. Would highly recommended this school to anyone interested in flying or getting another rating. Definitely prepare yourself and review all the material they give to you prior to coming if you are doing the multi-engine course.

D&J what can I say? Within a few hours of reaching out they were able to set me up with an MEI, checkride date and all of the recommended study material. If you come prepared, you’ll do just fine. The staff is highly professional and everyone I talked to knew their stuff. I can safely say any instructor they onboard is held to a high standard. Shout out to Robert for guiding me through and helping me walk away with a multi engine add on in 5 days!

I just completed the 5-day multi-add-on and passed the checkride yesterday! D&J has it down to a science. What made the week for me was my instructor, Nick K. He absolutely crushed it, an absolute rockstar of an MEI and cool dude in general.

Buyers beware: if you want to do this accelerated course, show up prepared, or you're going to play catch-up the entire week. I came knowing just about every bit of info D&J provides beforehand. Did I know everything? Absolutely not, but that's where Nick came in. He has the ability to teach and explain things in multiple different ways that just make it all "click."

Also, snag the hotel down the road. I only live an hour and a half away, but I knew I'd need to fully immerse myself. A healthy amount of chair flying is needed to get the flows down, as is quite a bit of studying. Just don't show up unprepared.

This was a fantastic experience (besides the plane swap on the 3rd day that sent me into an emotional spiral 😂), and I definitely owe a large amount of my success to Nick K; give that man a raise!

Highly recommend. I'm sure I'll be back to do some more multi-flying, or maybe even take one of those beautiful archers for a spin. Thanks D&J, and Nick 🤟🏼

Great experience at D&J Aviation. Just finished my 5 day multi and all went just as advertised. If you show up prepared and study beforehand it is significantly easier and cheaper. Well maintained aircraft, professional team of MEI’s and very helpful ops team! Would highly recommend to anyone!

D&J Aviation is truly a first-rate flight school. No corners cut, no sugar coating, no question left unanswered, and no experience less than excellent. Everyone there has a smile on their face, an enjoyment for what they do, extensive and confident knowledge of the materials and a professional but family like atmosphere. I came down from Charlotte, NC to do my Multi-Engine add on for my Commercial rating. Leila and Joel were my 2 Multi engine instructors who got me started and to the finish. D&J offers a 5 day accelerated course that caught my attention. Despite some weather and some scheduling, I did finish the course in 8 days and feel very, very accomplished in the training and completion of the course. I have been to many flight schools in my 9 years of flying, I can tell you that D&J is the superior option compared to others.
